Recruitment scams

Take care to avoid fraudulent job offers purporting to be on behalf of ASE Singapore Pte Ltd. There have been recent cases involving organizations or people falsely claiming to recruit on behalf of ASE Singapore.
Do note all individuals must go through a formal recruitment process conducted by ASE Singapore before they can be hired, and ASE Singapore does not ever ask for money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process.

You can protect yourselves against such fraudulent emails by checking the content carefully:

  • such emails usually come from non-ASE addresses such as gmail.com or yahoo.com;
  • poor use of English or written in non-English language;
  • request of money;
  • promise of job before any interviews

We recommend that you do not respond to such communications and never disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know.
